KC-10 (DC-10) aircraft commander, commanded worldwide passenger/cargo airlift and aerial refueling/receiver missions. Taught flight instrument ground school for three years to dozens of pilots. Flown over 3,000 hours, with 49 combat support sorties.
Management: Managed the daily flight operations in the Bosnian theater of operations. Coordinated and negotiated with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) participating countries to safely and efficiently schedule and flight follow hundreds of flight sorties in support of peace keeping efforts in Bosnia. Served as liaison with the offices of NATO, military, civilian and religious leaders, and humanitarian organizations to include the U.S. Secretary of State, the Pope and the Red Cross.
Supervision: Supervised and implemented flight standards and evaluations for over 20 C-21 pilots as an evaluator.
