Oversaw operation and maintenance of 9600 gallon mariculture facility specializing in captive-bred invertebrates and marine fish. Supervised up to five employees and volunteers performing day-to-day duties including food culture, propagation efforts, maintenance of water chemistries and system function, and research projects. Developed and conducted original research on matters pertinent to the propagation of marine organisms. Reviewed and analyzed results of research for peer-reviewed journals. Presented results and conclusions at national and regional symposiums. Designed and implemented intern program. Worked with researchers at University of Georgia regarding intern projects and performance. Wrote specifications for equipment purchases. Performed product testing. Troubleshot electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical components of propagation systems.

Led the facility to a First Place award for Operations and Maintenance in statewide competition. Placed second in seven-state regional competition. Collaborated with engineering firms and designed a new 40 mgd facility. Designated as on-site construction inspector. Responsible for all personnel matters.
